International Federation of Surgery for Obesity (IFSO) 2017

International Federation of Surgery for Obesity (IFSO) is the world’s largest meeting of specialists of various disciplines involved in the management of morbid obesity. The 2017 annual meeting was held at the Queen Elizabeth 2 Conference Centre in Central London from 29th August to 2nd September 2017. This mega event was hosted by the British Obesity & Metabolic Surgery Society (BOMSS). Mr Vinod Menon, Honorary Secretary of BOMSS, as a member of the Local Organising Committee played an active role in the success of the meeting attended by over 2750 delegates, there were 10 pre congress courses attended by 800 delegates. Our professional conference organises TFI (limited) ensured thorough planning and smooth conduct of the meeting. Mr Vinod Menon chaired and moderated a number of sessions and his team presented papers and posters at the meeting.
